Job Title: Child Care Live-In Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a live-in caregiver for children at Alexander Machica Household.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to a multi-aged group of children, including newborns and expecting mothers. This is a permanent position, requiring a flexible and reliable individual who can work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care and supervision to children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and disciplining according to parents' methods.
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Organize activities, such as games and outings, for children and ensure their emotional well-being.
  • Supervise and care for children during school hours and appointments, and assist with homework.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
Requirements:
  • 1-7 months of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Previous experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
Working Conditions:
  • Non-smoking and scent-free environment.
  • Room and board provided.
Language:

English is the primary language spoken in the household.
