Rising to new heights, our hotel is a cultural hub and hotspot in the heart of Toronto's Entertainment District. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front desk activities and ensure team members adhere to company standards.
  • Interact with guests, handle requests, and provide a four-diamond experience.
  • Support front desk agents with feedback and training.
  • Understand customer needs, improve processes, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Coordinate quality, efficiency, and safe operations of the front office department.
  • Ensure smooth guest flow and review occupancy patterns.
  • Maintain open communication with other departments.
  • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints.
  • Attend required meetings and oversee team member supervision.
  • Conduct regular meetings and training sessions.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and excellent condition of the back office area and equipment.
  • Ensure proper stock of supplies in the back office area.
  • Execute emergency procedures according to hotel standards.
  • Notify relevant individuals and departments of any problems or unusual matters.
  • Attend hotel meetings and training sessions.
  • Be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, employees, and management.
  • Promote teamwork skills and comply with hotel standards, policies, and rules.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Knowledge of computer programs used in property management.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field, or exceptionally strong technical and service skills.
  • Minimum two years' experience as a front desk agent at a comparable quality property.
