Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct video surveillance and gather evidence to support investigations
  • Conduct background checks and courthouse research to gather information
  • Write and record statements to document findings
  • Conduct scene investigations to gather evidence
  • Draft thorough and detailed investigative reports
  • Upload video, photographic, and audio evidence into case management system

Requirements:

  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Private Investigator in California and surrounding states
  • Experience in conducting surveillance and gathering evidence
  • Ability and willingness to travel within a multi-state coverage area
  • Flexibility to work varied and irregular hours, including weekends
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and reliable vehicle with minimum auto liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • Experience in conducting surveillance and gathering evidence
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
