Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TIM HORTONS. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays, and establish work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Our food service department operates in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will be working in a noisy, wet/damp, and hot environment, with a variety of locations and tasks to manage.
