About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter Specialist to join our team at Oj's Halal Meat. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparation: Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and wrap and package prepared meats.
  • Meat Handling: Remove bones from meat, weigh meats for sale, cut poultry into parts, and price meat products.
  • Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, grind meats, make special sausages, slice cooked meats, and prepare special orders.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines.
Work Environment

As a Meat Cutter Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demands.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
