About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for designing and drafting transportation and municipal infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including engineers, planners, scientists, and technical and administrative support staff.
  • Develop functional and detailed design drawings for various civil and municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, sewers, watermains, and drainage works.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, as well as Microstation/InRoads software, to create design drawings and reports.
  • Participate in project design and implementation activities, including contract document preparation, tendering, and contract administration.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and valid registration as a Civil Engineering Technologist (CET) or Certified Technician (CTech) in the province of Ontario.
  • 2-5 years of industry experience, preferably in consulting engineering and/or municipal environments.
  • Practical experience in functional and detailed design drawings of various civil and municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, as well as Microstation/InRoads software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
