About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Regulatory Policy Manager. As a key member of our National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC), you will play a critical role in developing and implementing regulatory policies and frameworks to ensure the safe and reliable provision of electric vehicle charging services in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regulatory policies and frameworks to govern the electric vehicle charging industry in Singapore.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with licensing conditions and take appropriate action against non-compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of regulatory requirements and standards for electric vehicle charging systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders on electric vehicle charging systems and regulations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in any discipline.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in enforcement policy or operations, such as regulating licensees or use of banned products.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational needs and recommend effective and efficient use of enforcement resources.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and with various stakeholders.
  • Interest and basic knowledge in electrical systems and electric vehicle charging systems will be advantageous.
