Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Calgary. The successful candidate will have a strong research agenda in entrepreneurship and innovation, with a focus on the application and leveraging of quantum technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach courses in entrepreneurship and innovation at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Conduct research in entrepreneurship and innovation, with a focus on quantum technologies
  • Participate in service to the Area, the Haskayne School of Business, the University of Calgary, and profession
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution
  • Evidence of past and/or potential excellence in scholarship, as demonstrated by high-quality research published and/or invited for revision in our highest-quality academic journals
  • A strong research program in entrepreneurship and innovation, with high potential for future publications in high-quality academic outlets
  • Evidence of strong theoretical and methodological skills and a mastery of the relevant literature in entrepreneurship and innovation
  • An interest in developing a research agenda relating to the application and leveraging of quantum technologies in entrepreneurship
  • Evidence of strong teaching effectiveness, as demonstrated by student evaluations
  • A willingness to engage in service to the school, university, and profession
