About the Opportunity

Mt. Royal University's Department of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Social Innovation invites applications for part-time sessional contract appointments in the following areas:

  • Teaching and course delivery in Business and Innovation programs
  • Instructional support and course development

Responsibilities

As a contract faculty member, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality instruction and course materials
  • Managing the Brightspace Learning Management System (D2L)
  • Grading assignments and exams
  • Participating in program meetings and development

Qualifications

We seek applicants with a minimum of a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Social Innovation, or a related field. A PhD or DBA is an asset. Previous teaching experience is preferred, but experience in training and workshop facilitation may also be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years of applicable professional experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Record of successful teaching performance or clear potential to become a successful instructor
  • Willingness to learn MRU systems and technological tools
