Job Title: Relief Baker-Breakfast/Chef

About the Job:

This is a unique opportunity to join NRB Modular Solutions as a Relief Baker-Breakfast/Chef. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing relief coverage for the Chef and Baker/Breakfast positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide relief coverage for the Chef and Baker/Breakfast positions
  • Prepare and cook all main meals as per client requirements
  • Ensure all meals are prepared and served on time to the highest standards
  • Stock and inventory management
  • Supervise staff in the Chef's absence
  • Provide mentorship and training to new staff
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Formal culinary training - Red Seal Certification required
  • Criminal Record Check required
  • SafeCheck advanced food safety certification required
  • 5 years of cooking experience in a similar or hotel/institutional environment preferred
  • Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Sysco, Outlook)
  • Excellent practical and theoretical background in all areas of the kitchen
