Reporting directly to the Provincial Programs Manager, the CNL will enhance digital and virtual health initiatives by offering clinical guidance to nursing teams, managing daily operations, and delivering administrative support for virtual oncology services, thereby improving patient experiences and access to oncology nursing for individuals receiving care.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, adjusting work assignments, and communicating changes to the team while assessing the impact on patient scheduling.
- Facilitate patient care delivery by developing unit-specific policies, procedures, and standards of care, making recommendations for modifications, and ensuring adequate staffing resources to meet patient needs.
- Provide continuous coaching and mentorship to nursing staff for professional growth and performance enhancement, utilizing constructive feedback and supporting the orientation process.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Clinical Services and Senior Practice Leader to identify and address individual learning needs, including the introduction of new skills or protocols.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of PHSA/BC Cancer policies at the unit level, supporting a collaborative environment and participating in organizational committees.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current RN registration from the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- A minimum of three years of recent clinical nursing experience, including teaching and leadership roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Skills:
- Proven ability to supervise and direct nursing staff.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
