We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for the initiation and management of mechanical ventilation and advanced airway management in all areas of the institution.
You will deliver and manage the administration of oxygen and other compressed gases, aerosolized medications, and high humidity therapies. Additionally, you will perform and interpret related pulmonary diagnostic testing, and work collaboratively with physicians to achieve patient cardiorespiratory status goals.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist who possesses the following qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy
- Registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists
- Certification in CPR at NRP and ACLS levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective planning, organizing, and supervising abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changing service needs
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours- Permanent Part-Time, 60%, 45 hours bi-weekly

The hourly rate for this position is $40.66.
