Job Summary

Navacord is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director, Talent Acquisition and Development. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for leading our national talent acquisition strategy, building a robust and efficient recruitment process, and establishing Navacord as an employer of choice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Talent Acquisition Strategies: Create and execute a comprehensive national talent acquisition plan to attract top industry and non-industry talent, including over 100+ Advisor hires across our broker partners.
  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Manage a team of Talent Acquisition Consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional results and proactive sourcing of national talent.
  • Establish Best Practices: Create and nurture a talent acquisition community of practice leads across our HR team to share knowledge and best practices, ensuring consistency and excellence in recruitment across the organization.
  • Embed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Educate and influence the business to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies are embedded in our recruitment tools, technology, and practices, and establish a process to share best practices across our Broker Partners nationally.
  • Implement National Applicant Tracking System: Vet, assess, and implement a national applicant tracking system (ATS) technologies across our Broker Partners, determining additional talent attraction tools and technology to increase candidate experience and prospect flow.
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Function as the primary stakeholder with third parties supporting the talent acquisition process, including LinkedIn, third-party recruiters, Predictive Index, and other vendors.
  • Enhance Employer Brand: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance Navacord's employer brand, employee value proposition, and ensure consistent talent attraction messaging across all recruitment channels.
  • Develop Resources and Training: Create resources, best practice guides, and interview support materials for the national HR group and presidents, providing training on hiring best practices to ensure consistency and excellence in recruitment.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and initiatives.
  • Continuously Evaluate and Refine: Continuously evaluate and refine talent acquisition processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience, developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies, technology, and tools to attract top talent.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years leadership experience, with 3+ years demonstrated leadership experience in a D&I role and strong awareness of current events and industry trends related to D&I
  • Interpersonal Skills: Experience interacting with executive teams, with evidence of developing and implementing industry-leading best practices
  • Vendor Management: Experience working with third-party vendors and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed to support national recruitment efforts
  • Program Management: Experience in program or project management to facilitate cultural or transformational change, leading simultaneous activities or projects
