About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Analyst to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our Sustainability and Climate Change Measurement & Reporting team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our climate strategy, providing evidence-based recommendations, and driving business insights that inform our sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories and reports in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in our sustainability performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement projects that support our decarbonization strategy and reduce our environmental footprint.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive sustainability outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in sustainability and climate change measurement and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability, climate change, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with GHG accounting, quantification, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
