About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Analyst to join our team at EcoVadis. As a key member of our Evaluation Services department, you will play a crucial role in producing independent, trusted, and actionable ratings and insights that empower companies to improve their sustainable business practices.

As a Sustainability Analyst, you will assess and report on the quality and robustness of companies' sustainability management systems, using our rigorous EcoVadis methodology. You will become an expert in applying this methodology, built on international CSR standards and frameworks, and will work closely with our international team of analysts to drive positive impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess company management system documentation, applying the EcoVadis methodology throughout the analysis process
  • Extract and synthesize material sustainability data related to environmental, social, ethics, and supply chain
  • Follow up with rated companies to clarify specific issues related to their assessment
  • Stay up-to-date with regular updates regarding the EcoVadis methodology and apply them to the assessment process
  • Complete quality checks during the assessment process
  • Work on daily targets and confirm the implementation of a rated company's sustainability management system components using the EcoVadis methodology guidelines

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of professional experience in a related field, such as sustainability or sustainable development
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and oral) - other languages are a plus
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree with a focus on sustainability
  • Proficiency in G-Suite applications
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence to work independently and autonomously, manage time effectively, and know when to ask for help
  • Ability to work to daily targets
  • Being adaptable to change
  • Communicate with honesty and kindness
  • Collaborative and seeks to build trusting relationships
