Lafarge Canada, a leading construction solutions provider, is seeking a skilled Traffic Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe working conditions on our sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Set up and tear down traffic controls to maintain a safe and efficient workflow.
- Assist in barricading and traffic control set-ups and tear-downs.
- Monitor and maintain a safe work area, adhering to traffic safety guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Knowledge of traffic safety, traffic flow, and traffic control procedures.
- Valid Traffic Control Ticket.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks.
