Investment Counsel Support Professional

The Investment Counsel Support Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the exceptional client experience delivered by Manulife Private Wealth meets the high standards of our business. This position is based in Montreal and involves a range of responsibilities centered on supporting Investment Counsellors in providing administration and sales support to high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Investment Counsellors to deliver personalized client service.
- Work directly with clients to complete necessary documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Client account administration, including responding to client queries, setting up new accounts, processing transactions, and preparing for client meetings.
- Liaise with custodians and third parties to execute client requests in a timely manner, escalating as necessary to ensure strict adherence to service level agreements.
- Assist with client performance and tax reporting.
- Maintain client data and perform data integrity checks for quality control.
- Provide backup support to other team members as needed.
- Experience in high-net-worth client service, with familiarity with the wealth management industry.
- Post-secondary education is preferred, but relevant experience (minimum of 2 years) is also highly valued.
- CIM designation or other industry licenses such as CFA, CFP are preferred.
- Successful completion of CSC is preferred.
- Solid computer skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Superior client relationship management skills.
- A desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to communicate in English and French (verbal and written) is required.
