Job Summary

Golderado Contracting Corp is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and move them to and from work areas.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare and clean up construction sites, including removing rubble and debris, and performing demolition, excavation, and compaction activities.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades at construction sites.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate compactors, trampers, and other heavy equipment as required.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of industrial or civil construction experience or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 09 or 2020), WHMIS 2015, and ground disturbance 201.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Language Skills: Proficient English language skills required.
