Job Summary:

Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled labourer to join our team at the BHP Jansen Potash Mine project. As a skilled labourer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction and maintenance of the mine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the construction and maintenance of the mine, including concrete pours, jackhammering, and backfilling.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as compaction equipment, and identify and report hazardous or unsafe areas.
  • Participate in general housekeeping and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Identify necessary tools and equipment and assist in their maintenance.
  • Assist in the completion of tasks related to ground disturbance and dewatering.

Requirements:

  • CSTS-2020 / SCOT certification
  • WHMIS 2015 certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ground Disturbance 201 certification
  • Satisfactory completion of a pre-access drug and alcohol test

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous industrial experience
  • Concrete experience preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn and positive attitude
