About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Wright Construction Services Inc. in a temporary position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction process, performing tasks such as cleaning and preparing work sites, and assisting skilled tradespeople.
  • Operate aerial lifts and aerial work platforms, and maintain a high level of safety awareness.
  • Participate in training programs, such as Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, performing physically demanding tasks, and working in a team to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to WHMIS and other safety protocols.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a construction-related field.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions, and will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment.

Language and Work Schedule

The work language is English, and the work schedule is 40-50 hours per week, with a temporary work term.
