About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at TripleClean Exhaust Maintenance Inc. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas that require cleaning and maintenance, and implement measures to prevent the buildup of dirt and grime.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure that they are aligned with the company's financial goals.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services, such as painting or repair work, may be required, and recommend them to management.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned regularly and efficiently.
  • Operate Cleaning Equipment: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as steam cleaners and pressure washers, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Clean Soot and Creosote: Clean soot and creosote from chimneys and fireplaces, and ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Clean Ducts and Vents: Clean ducts and vents of furnaces to ensure they are free from dust and debris.
  • Clean Building Exterior: Clean the exterior of buildings, including tanks, chimneys, and industrial equipment.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, including responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a cleaning or maintenance role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel, and to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
Language and Work Schedule

The language of work is English, and the work schedule is 35 hours per week.
