About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Macao Imperial Tea. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas.
    • Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and responding to their needs in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    • Receive and store inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is an asset.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Work Environment

The Food Service Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and working under pressure to meet customer demands.
