Position Overview

The Practice Management team is dedicated to enhancing the client experience with Mackenzie through tailored Practice Management solutions. Our primary focus is on delivering customized coaching and engagements that foster improved client service, enhanced business performance, and operational efficiencies within advisor practices.



Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Practice Management, the Director will be tasked with developing and implementing superior client experiences through innovative Practice Management solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with Regional Sales Teams and Financial Advisors to achieve their business objectives.



Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver practice management solutions through public speaking engagements for financial advisors at various events, including presentations, workshops, keynotes, professional development days, dealer events, conferences, webinars, and conference calls.
  • Collaborate with the National Accounts Team and the Strategic Alliance Team to support Dealer Head Office practice management initiatives.
  • Assist sales teams in building partnerships with advisors in their respective territories to enhance Mackenzie distribution.
  • Engage in coaching and workshop sessions with advisors across Canada.
  • Work alongside the Practice Management Team to provide thought leadership in developing practice management tools, materials, and resources for advisors.
  • Research emerging trends in Practice Management and deliver timely content in the form of presentations, articles, worksheets, and learning courses.

Qualifications:
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a mandatory requirement for this role.
  • BA in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Completion of Canadian Securities and/or IFIC is preferred.
  • Professional Coaching training and certification are preferred.
  • Experience in public speaking is preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services/mutual fund industry, including familiarity with industry-related issues and the needs of various distribution channels.
  • Proven coaching, leadership, and facilitation skills, with an understanding of coaching principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of critical aspects of practice management for financial advisors, including strategic business planning, team management, and client relationship management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
