About the Role:

Hudson's Bay is seeking a highly skilled Asset Protection Investigator to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating loss prevention risks across our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into loss prevention incidents, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and reduce shrinkage, working closely with store management and associates.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other external partners to ensure successful prosecution of shoplifting cases.
  • Provide training and coaching to store associates on loss prevention best practices and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging threats, making recommendations for process improvements and new initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Valid security license (requirements vary by region).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with store teams and external partners.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
