Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Directly supervise and manage the hotel's operations team, including department heads and managers.
    • Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee the hotel's daily operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
    • Implement and manage quality processes to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
    • Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Work with the front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Financial Management
    • Review and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
    • Work with the revenue management and sales teams to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Capital Improvements
    • Coordinate capital improvements and property improvement plans (PIP) to enhance the hotel's facilities and services.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum five (5) years in Hotel management industry experience strongly preferred or in a similar capacity.
    • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role.
  • Skills
    • Exceptional leadership qualities, along with previous managerial experience.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and administration skills.
    • Ability to resolve issues in a suitable and timely manner.
    • Work well under little to no supervision.
    • Proficient with computerized systems; MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Oracle.
    • Ability to gather, compare, analyze, and present data.
    • Ability to deal with all levels of management and staff in a professional manner.
    • Excellent time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong sense of urgency and accountability in ownership.
Working Conditions

This is a leadership role that requires people management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to execute and follow through on projects. The individual has complete responsibility and authority to take whatever action is deemed advisable or necessary, subject only to the policies or general rules laid down.
