About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Beverage Operations Director to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the growth, maintaining excellence, and improving performance in all areas of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including staff training, managing compliance, and ensuring health and food safety standards are adhered to.
  • Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and Assistant of Food & Beverage Director to achieve business objectives.
  • Forecast sales, ensure accurate costing and pricing, and manage inventory.
  • Develop and implement training plans, conduct training, and manage team productivity and operational expenses.
  • Ensure high-quality service, maximize guest satisfaction, and encourage return visits.
  • Manage orders, stock taking, and maintenance, as well as analyze sales and market data.
  • Support the Director of Food and Beverage in administrative tasks, departmental reports, and strategic planning.
  • Implement and enforce cash and payment control policies, manage budget, and prepare monthly management accounts.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Proven project management skills and intimate knowledge of international bar community and cocktail bars.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook proficiency.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook, 'can-do' attitude, and creative mindset.
