Job Summary:

Fed Finance is seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
  • Prepare and submit GST/QST and DAS reports
  • Prepare payroll for clients
  • Manage and prepare T4, T5 slips
  • Prepare personal and corporate income tax reports
  • Produce unaudited financial statements
  • Participate in review engagement mandates

Requirements:

  • DEC - Technical diploma in accounting
  • Between 1 and 5 years' experience in an accounting firm
  • Knowledge of tax, corporate and personal laws and principles
  • Knowledge of software: Caseware, Taxprep
