Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at JADE GARDEN RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for management
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, informing business decisions
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and accurate service
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity
