Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1625629 Alberta Inc.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of the store.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer needs.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including cashiers, grocery clerks, and shelf stockers.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
