About the Role:This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization, where you will be responsible for managing payroll operations, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage payroll operations, including timesheets, payroll control records, and analytics.
- Process employee benefits, manage reconciliations, and liaise with brokers.
- Handle government filings, audits, and year-end reports (W2s, T4s, T5s).
- Develop and implement efficient processes for the payroll function.
- Provide top-notch advice and support to management and staff.
- Minimum five years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in payroll and HRIS systems.
- Certification in payroll or accounting is a plus.
- Multi-state/province experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of payroll concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
