About the Role

Mishra Farms is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and optimize farm operations
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Maintain accurate financial and production records to inform decision-making and optimize farm performance
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting to ensure crop health and quality
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve farm goals and objectives
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
Working Conditions
  • 35-40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
