Position Overview:

The Regional Technician is tasked with the installation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of Certarus equipment at CNG filling stations and client locations. This role reports directly to the Operations Supervisor and is vital in supporting CNG delivery operations while offering comprehensive technical assistance to both the company and its clients.

Work Schedule:

  • This role offers a consistent shift schedule that allows for daily home time.
  • Occasional travel outside the designated region may be required.
  • Night shifts are necessary to support operational needs.
  • 8 shifts on followed by 6 days off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support overall plant and fleet operations in the region while fostering a safe working environment.
  • Provide mechanical and technical assistance on process equipment and gas compression at Certarus hubs and client sites.
  • Manage the setup and dismantling of pressure reduction equipment at customer locations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and governmental safety and regulatory standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical field role.
  • Preference for candidates with a technical diploma, journeyman certification, or 4th Class Power/Operating Engineer certificate.
  • Experience in troubleshooting regulators, valves, instrumentation, electrical systems, and compression is advantageous, as is familiarity with gas processing equipment including production, field gas, or gas compression.
  • A positive demeanor coupled with excellent communication and customer service skills.
