We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Foodland. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our retail service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and maintain a clean environment
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and perform routine cleaning tasks
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment
  • Conduct safety and security checks, and perform other routine maintenance jobs
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
  • Work with minimal supervision and perform tasks with a high level of independence
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements
  • Will train on the job
