About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lodging House Manager to join our team at Jayne's Cottages. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our lodging facilities, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
  • Supervise staff and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests
  • Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure that staff are up-to-date with the latest procedures and protocols
  • Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure that our facilities are financially sustainable
  • Prepare marketing plans to attract new guests and retain existing ones
  • Implement marketing activities to promote our facilities and services
  • Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained
  • Enforce policies and procedures to ensure that our facilities are run in a safe and efficient manner
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional service to ensure that they have a positive experience at our facilities

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts
