Position Summary
The individual in this role will deliver nursing services that encompass, but are not limited to: direct patient care, health assessments, nursing care strategies, and the coordination of healthcare services for residents. This role includes supervising and assessing the care delivered by certified nursing assistants. Furthermore, the individual will maintain regular communication with residents, families, nursing personnel, physicians, dietary staff, pharmacy, administration, and other support departments within the facility.Key Responsibilities

As such, incumbents may perform similar duties not specifically listed here. Delivers or assesses direct nursing care.Develops, implements, and/or reviews nursing care strategies.
Provides health education and guidance to individuals, families, community organizations, and/or nursing facilities regarding their healthcare needs.
Fosters effective working relationships with other members of the healthcare team.
Prepares and submits documentation, reports, evaluations, and necessary forms.
Engages in and offers recommendations concerning quality assurance initiatives.
