- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Purchasing, to identify and address maintenance needs
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory levels
- Ensure timely completion of facilities-related work orders and projects
- Generate and release work orders to the Engineering Team, ensuring clear instructions and deadlines
- Focus on inventory management and material procurement to minimize shortages and optimize resource allocation
- Gather and analyze maintenance metrics to inform data-driven decision making
- Adapt and apply procedures to daily activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and contractors
- Consult with manager on complex maintenance decisions and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Perform ad hoc duties as required to support the maintenance function
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software
- APICS Certification or similar designation preferred
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and coordination
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools, with ability to apply them to daily activities
