  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues
  • Mentoring team members on innovative work practices
  • Coordinating travel arrangements and itinerary planning
  • Driving as part of a team or in a convoy
  • Loading and unloading freight
  • Monitoring vehicle condition and conducting inspections on tires, lights, brakes, and other essential equipment
  • Executing brake adjustments and performing emergency roadside repairs
  • Conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all vehicle aspects are managed
  • Communicating effectively with central dispatch
  • Documenting cargo details, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage
  • Securing cargo with tarps and ensuring its safetyRequired Certifications and Licenses
  • AZ Class LicenseDocumentation Proficiency
  • Familiarity with accident or incident reports
  • Understanding of bills of lading
  • Experience with driver logbooks
  • Knowledge of inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
  • Maintenance and repair documentation
  • Trans-border documentation
  • Trip reportingType of Equipment
  • Operating a straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles)Communication Systems Knowledge
  • Experience with GPS and navigation tools
  • Familiarity with trip recorders (on-board computers)Travel Experience
  • International, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial travelSafety and Security
  • Possession of a valid passport

  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Holding a valid driver's license
