Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Drive Company Vehicles: Safely operate company automobiles, vans, and light trucks to transport goods and merchandise to our customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring that all items are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues that may have arisen during the delivery process.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles to ensure that they are in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence, which allows you to operate cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Transportation Experience: Have experience with local and provincial/territorial transportation, including navigating through various routes and conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent attention to detail, be a team player, and have strong organizational and judgement skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety.
