Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team at CAA Club Group. As a Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in progressing claim files to expedient resolutions while maintaining a member-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations, evaluations, and analyses of automobile and third-party property damage claims.
- Coordinate with appraisers, body shops, third-party claimants, adjusters, and vendors to negotiate and settle claims.
- Evaluate liability, salvage, and subrogation exposure and potential.
- Review and analyze losses to ensure files meet guideline criteria and determine proper kind of loss.
- Maintain adequate reserves based on exposure and authority level.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education completion.
- 1-5 years prior claims handling experience coupled with 2-3 years customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
