Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and organization in our staff accommodations, main clubhouse, and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and clean common areas, including the clubhouse and office spaces, to the highest standards of quality and complete tasks on time.
  • Clean and tidy staff accommodations, including common areas and bedrooms, upon departure.
  • Ensure all areas used for events are restored to their original condition promptly.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning and maintenance goals.
  • Assist with other housekeeping services as needed and maintain effective communication with colleagues.
  • Participate in Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility in shifts and schedule, with evening and weekend work required.
  • Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs, bend, twist, kneel, and stand for a full shift.
  • Manual dexterity is required.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Must possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures.
  • Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and wear latex or non-latex gloves when using chemicals.
