About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Sunrise Ventures Inc. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods to ensure accurate and efficient service.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits to prepare for cooking.
    • Scour pots and pans to ensure they are spotless.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Restock condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to maintain a fully stocked environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
    • Handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient work environment.

  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
    • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
