Pharmacy Business Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and support staff to provide exceptional patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of pharmacists and support staff
- Responsible for the financial and operational success of the pharmacy department
- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
- Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements
- Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and professional manner
- Create awareness and educate customers through public relations and community outreach
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor's requests/issues
- Obtain and review budgeted sales and net contribution
- Identify and report sales opportunities both internally and externally
- Review and control costs at all levels within the pharmacy department
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist's license
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail pharmacy environment
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong people management skills and the ability to motivate and coach others
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
- Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the experience formulating and executing action plans
- Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy systems
