Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and packaging of whey powder and dairy blend powders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate packaging and production equipment as assigned by the Whey Plant Supervisor or Lead Hand.
  • Responsible for receiving and storing raw materials, including incoming milk, UF Milk, cream, and secondary culture.
  • Assist in shipping of blended dairy products and prepare for shipping of finished goods.
  • Accurately record all data and inventory entries into AS400.
  • Ensure adherence to Best Operating Procedures to maintain the highest quality product possible.
Requirements
  • Experience in a dairy or food manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Forklift license is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a high degree of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
