Senior Manager, Risk Strategic Initiatives and Risk Oversight Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Risk Strategic Initiatives and Risk Oversight to join our team at the Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in providing independent oversight and effective challenge of risk management activities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on risk-related matters, including risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address risk-related issues, and develop solutions to improve risk management practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and monitoring to ensure that risk management practices are effective and aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, risk management teams, and external partners.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in risk management, with a strong understanding of risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, risk management teams, and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex risk-related issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
