We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director, BSM and SFX Oversight, who will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of Balance Sheet Management (BSM) activities and structural FX exposures and strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Maintain Risk Management Frameworks: Develop and maintain frameworks, processes, and controls to oversee BSM and SFX activities, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and risk policy frameworks.
- Independent Risk Reviews: Perform independent reviews of BSM and SFX activities, including review of exposures, strategies, transactions, and assumptions, to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration with Corporate Treasury: Collaborate with Corporate Treasury stakeholders to set risk tolerance/limits against SFX risk and BSM positions, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation.
- Emerging Risk Identification: Identify emerging risks and engage first line to assess potential impact, ensuring proactive risk management and mitigation.
- Non-Trading FX Reporting Enhancements: Support enhancements to non-trading FX reporting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of FX exposures and positions.
- Financial Performance Oversight: Collaborate with financial performance oversight team on P&L analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Strategic Input and Advice: Provide strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor, ensuring alignment with risk management and regulatory requirements.
- Recommendations to Senior Leaders: Make recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation.

- Relevant Experience and Education: Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
