About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Housekeeper to join our Private Household team. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Household Management: Launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to workplace safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with household members and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient household operation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, sitting, walking, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
