We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Kitimat General Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including medical surgical, pediatrics, maternity, and emergency departments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct assessments, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Previous experience in all levels of care, with a preference for advanced cardiac life support certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
