Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Kitimat General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in medical-surgical, pediatrics, maternity, and emergency care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in a variety of settings, including medical-surgical, pediatrics, maternity, and emergency departments
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance nursing skills
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- Previous experience in medical-surgical, pediatrics, maternity, and emergency care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
