Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality food standards, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient service
Requirements:
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Dependability and flexibility
  • Team player with excellent leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Work Environment:

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
