Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Brothers Indian Grocery Store. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of food order summaries for our chef.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Brothers Indian Grocery Store, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to maintain attention to detail and work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
